Just keep it up (so people who discover it anew can browse through the archives) and check up on it once a month or so. Post a notice over --there-> that the blog has slowed down but you're still accepting submissions or somebiz. No need to delete it, just switch to a lower gear. A lot of jokes have been done already and Beaton herself doesn't have the fastest update schedule either, so it's normal for the submissions to have slowed down.
